Our Belief
Film Philosophy
In order to make a good Motion Picture, your focus should be purely on the art itself. Not what is allowed, not what is easy to make and certainly not what is better to sell.
We believe that this is the way forward for Cinema. The Filmmaker should be there, putting 110% of his soul into the Film that he is making. If even the slightest detail is off, the audience will sense it immediately. Film, like music or paintings, is the expression of an Artist. The moment something is changed because it can sell better, or is just easier to make, other than what the Artist really feels is needed, then it can ruin the whole experience. The ART comes first! No exceptions to that.
Storytelling and emotion are the core of our films. We believe that the beauty on the inside is always more powerful than the looks of the outside. Yes, aesthetic is good, but only if it has substance. We do not believe in making Films that do not tell human stories, that do not impact our humanity after watching them. We stand strongly against aesthetic without substance.
Cinema is, in our opinion, the pinnacle of art in human history. By combining multiple art forms, such as music, cinematography, writing, performing and others, you create a movie. While we love filmmaking, we also love celebrating Cinema. We want to not just make Movies, but also spread the love for them.
Films are our escape. Our portal into another world, where we can forget about our daily problems for those few hours and put ourselves into whatever scenario we have chosen. They are, like any other piece of art, something that we need in our lives in order to keep in check.
We are Film lovers, we are Film consumers and we are appreciators of Art. Number 1 priority will always be the Art and the Artist. Films cannot and should not be treated like a product on the shelf made for mass production.
- The ART comes first.
- Aesthetic only matters when it has substance.
- Cinema should protect the artist, not flatten the artist.
